Frequently Asked Questions
How do I enter your Studio? (Most Common)
Once you reach the address, walk into APEX barbershop and I'm situated out in the back. You'll notice a lit-up 'tattoo' sign on the right side of the shop above the doorway. Proceed through until you reach the studio.

What are your opening times?
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday (11am-4pm).

Do you take appointments outside your typical working hours?
Yes, this is only upon request due to certain circumstances. I try to keep inside my listed hours however I can take longer sessions on Sundays and occasionally work a Saturday, but this comes with an added fee depending on the length of the session.

Can I walk in or do I need an appointment?
As I run a private work space ideally I would prefer a heads up before stopping by. This may be because I have a client in already and my commitment of their privacy. However if you would like a last minute tattoo feel free to message me as I may be available that day.

Do you offer consultations?
I do if specifically requested, although I prefer to do most of my consultations through Instagram, Facebook, Google or My website. In person consultations may only be needed for cover-ups or something that requires looking at in person.

Do you take deposits and why?
I take deposits on every tattoo and book you in for a time to suits you. Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE as is normal in the industry, I hope you understand all artists are self employed and prior to appointments there is a lot of preparation that happens before you even arrive on the day. Alongside this, there is a risk of taking the time slot away from someone else if you was to not show.
If you give 7 days notice I can reschedule but NO REFUND of deposit.

Can I use numbing cream?
I prefer not to as it can interfere with healing and can cause skin reactions. If numbing cream is used then please follow the instructions that come with the product. Some numbing creams that aren't applied correctly or given sufficient time to set in may have adverse effects.

Can I bring my friend to sit with me whilst I have my tattoo?
A lot of tattoo shops/studios do not allow friends or family in the shop/studio whilst you are being tattooed due to space and interference. This is not how I work. Feel free to bring a friend or two if need be. I understand that sometimes getting a tattoo can be a daunting experience and I would prefer that you are comfortable and feel at ease through the reassurance of your family member or friend. There is plenty of space for them to sit and feel relaxed too.

What age do I need to be to have a tattoo?
You MUST be at least 18 years of age. No ifs or buts.

What happens after my tattoo if I have any questions?
Feel free to message me at any time to ask us questions or show me how your new tattoo is healing. Any advice on aftercare will be on a form that you will sign on the day of your tattoo.
